Why have we chosen PVC over Canvas for the Wildback Canopy?
As a tonneau cover manufacuture for the past sixteen years we know materials. When we decided to produce a range of soft canopies we conducted many tests using both our perfered tonneau material (PVC) as well as the industry standard canvas.
Our canopies are made from PVC which is a far superior product. It is 100% waterproof and won’t shrink over time. The PVC we use is high quality and UV stabilised so it won’t fade in the sun. Unlike Canvas made canopies, our canopies are also anti-mould and mildew so you don’t have to worry about them becoming a health hazard. The main reason we use PVC instead of canvas is because it is more durable and long lasting. Our canopies are made to last with double stitching in all load bearing areas and heavy duty, reinforced PK heavy duty #10 zips. We use high quality webbing for our loops which won’t stretch or tear over time.
